Your post alleging you were “lied to” is simply false and troubling since you continue to work with us. You have been a valued client since first contacting Davison in November 2013. We understand that customer service is vital in all businesses and is imperative when operating a successful business. Customer concerns upset everyone and our staff works very hard to troubleshoot them so communication errors are kept to a minimum. From the time of an initial contact, through the research and development of a new product idea, to the presentation of a client’s idea, we try to maintain an open channel of communication, disclosing our services and fees upfront and securing our clients’ approval and authorization throughout the process. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, clients are occasionally dissatisfied, particularly when their product ideas are not licensed. A review of your project shows that we performed our services with your express written approval and authorization. Further, the services have been performed to your documented satisfaction.

With regard to your specific project, you contacted Davison in November 2013. BEFORE you entered any service contract, you were provided with, and acknowledged having received and read, two disclosures. The disclosures detail the various services offered and their related fees, the historical success rates for securing a license agreement, as well as the number of clients who have received a financial gain. It is not possible to be more upfront with clients. You entered the initial Pre-Development contract for research on your idea. This research was performed and provided to you. Following completion of the initial service, you entered an Integrated Product Rendering and Presentation Agreement. A proposed design was submitted to you and you approved the design. You also completed a questionnaire about the design in which you provided positive feedback. In reliance upon your approval, the presentation materials were created. An Executive Briefing was submitted for your review and you authorized, in writing, the presentation. You also completed a second questionnaire about the Executive Briefing, providing positive feedback. The corporation to whom the idea was presented did not license the project. Next, you contracted to have the product idea presented to a second corporation. Unfortunately, this corporation also has not licensed the idea. At present, a third corporation is being approached at no cost to you. At no time during the process were you misled as to the status of your project.
