To Mr. Cornell, We understand that customer service is vital in all businesses and is imperative when operating a successful business. Customer concerns upset everyone and our staff works very hard to troubleshoot them so communication errors are kept to a minimum. However, your post stating that our company “ripped you off” and engaged in fraud and deceit is FALSE, DEFAMATORY and BASELESS. We suggest that you read’s legal disclaimer concerning personal liability for posts. Our staff of over 250 people and their families don’t deserve to be defamed by a poster. In your post, you state you were informed that it would cost only 500 pounds to have a prototype made. This is false. When you contacted us, you were provided clear and explicit written disclosures about our services and the typical associated fees - which are in excess of 500 pounds. In fact, it is impossible for a person to submit an idea through our website without receiving and acknowledging these disclosures. You acknowledged these disclosures on July 11, 2012. When you have the opportunity please re-review the materials. You contracted for the initial stage of services, and signed a Pre-Development Agreement which obligated us to compile research data relevant to your submitted idea. This service was completed and a Product Portfolio sent to you containing the research data. Subsequent to your posting, in an e-mail dated September 25, 2012, you acknowledged receipt of these materials. Whether you choose to proceed further with additional services is your prerogative. Inventing and new product development is not right for everyone. You have to be willing to accept that inventing is high risk with no guarantees of profits. We are in the business of building product samples and packaging. When you are in business you are obliged to pay the staff, taxes, operation expenditures, vendors, telephone companies, utility companies, and so forth. Being in business costs money, but we run into inventors like you that think we should work for free while you gain the opportunity to collect royalties from our work. Simply put, it costs money to research, design and build products. Davison is well ahead of the curve when it comes to compliance with strict regulatory control, which among other things provides inventors with greater transparency and written terms and conditions. All individual clients and even potential clients are provided risk statements in the form of an Affirmative Disclosure and the American Inventor Protection Act disclosure. No other company on the globe can compete based on the quality of product design and development services at the price points we offer. For over 22 years, Davison has helped everyday people prepare and present their ideas to corporations, manufacturers, and retailers to see if they would be willing to license the product ideas. We had an idea from an invention and put the idea forward to Ryan Matlock. This person said all the correct words and reassurance to get this idea off the ground, we had regular meetings via telephone as I live in the UK.

Ryan then said that we would need to pay £500 pounds for the prototype to be ready in 4 weeks time in which we agreed, coup,e of weeks down the line he then suggested we would need to pay him an extra 3k to 15k for the product, this started alarm bells ringing as we had already paid £500. Myself and Ryan Matlock decided that it would be best to cancel the business contract and refund the £500 pounds I had previously paid. I sent email after email requesting information when the refund was actioned, this failed to materlise. I then received a phone call of Ryan to say we had paid £500 for a CD.

This was never agreed at the start of the contract. I then contacted MasterCard fraud office, to stop the transaction and Davidson Group was put under investigation.

I request that an invoice for the apparent CD that I had spent so much money on was invoiced to me, this denied by Ryan Matlock, so now I am £500 pounds out of pocket and no prototype or CD. This company is a fraudulent scam, that totally rips people off, this person should face prisonment for his deception and fraudulent company.

Monetary Loss: $795.
